VBlank Chipsynth v.3 demo

This is a demo for VBlank's Chipsynth. It takes any sound or song and interperets it. patterns and parameters are controlled by him in real time via a N64 controller! crazy...


Vblank's own words: " Here’s a sample video from my 3rd version of the Chipsynth Video Circuit. This Circuit has 2 processors, a line audio input for realtime modulation of graphics and two Nintendo 64 controllers for live performance manipulation."

This video shows me performing with my foot controller. All the guitar parts here are improvised. I preprogrammed the loops on Nanoloop and trigger them with my foot via the GBC foot controller. My guitar is run through the 8bit fuzz pedal so that i can blend with the gameboy. Watch out for my cat around 5:46. His name is Part-Time. He looks at me like "what the fuck are you doing," and then walks away. I think he wanted some attention.

No-Carrier (Don Miller) coded this flyer. Its a ROM that you can play on any NES emulator or even play it on the orginal system (if you know what your doing!). When he told me the ROM flyer would have a Valentines Day feel - i jumped at the chance to make some music for it. This is my Chiptune arrangement of the Jazz Standard "My Funny Valentine." The Volume is kinda low - so, turn up your computer speakers.
